A newly surfaced CCTV video has brought renewed attention to the death of a nine-year-old Class 4 student in Jaipur, with her family alleging that repeated bullying by classmates and the school’s failure to intervene played a crucial role in the tragedy.
The child, a student at a private school in Jaipur, allegedly died by suicide on November 1, 2025, after reportedly jumping from the fourth floor of the school building. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.

Family Releases CCTV Footage to Support Bullying Claims
Nearly eight months after the incident, the student’s parents released CCTV footage from inside the classroom, claiming it provides evidence of continuous bullying shortly before the incident.
According to the family, the video shows their daughter entering the classroom, greeting a classmate, and participating in a dance activity before allegedly becoming the target of repeated bullying by fellow students.
The footage, which has circulated widely on social media, also appears to show the child approaching a teacher before leaving the classroom while visibly upset. The parents claim these moments demonstrate that their daughter sought help but did not receive adequate support from school staff.
Parents Allege School Failed to Protect Their Daughter
The girl’s parents have maintained that they repeatedly informed school authorities about the bullying but received little assistance. They allege that despite clear signs of emotional distress, no meaningful action was taken to ensure their daughter’s safety.
The family has demanded strict legal action against everyone found responsible under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act. They have also urged investigators to consider charges related to abetment wherever legally applicable.
In addition, the parents alleged that the police investigation was influenced by the school management and failed to establish the complete sequence of events inside the classroom.

Police File Chargesheet in Jaipur School Student Death Case
Rajasthan Police recently filed a chargesheet before a court in connection with the case. However, the family continues to question the investigation, arguing that key evidence and allegations of bullying were not examined thoroughly.
The release of the CCTV footage has reignited public discussion about the school’s role and whether timely intervention could have prevented the tragedy.
Child Safety Concerns Raised by Parent Associations
Following the video’s release, parent bodies renewed calls for stronger child protection measures in schools.
Sanyukt Abhibhavak Sangh state president Arvind Agrawal said the incident raises serious questions about accountability in educational institutions. He called for strict implementation of child safety guidelines, proper preservation of evidence, and action against anyone found negligent.
The organisation’s state spokesperson, Abhishek Jain, said the case highlights weaknesses in child protection systems in private schools. He stressed the need for:
- Comprehensive anti-bullying policies.
- Trained school counsellors.
- Complete CCTV coverage across school campuses.
- Effective grievance redressal mechanisms for students and parents.
- Timely intervention by teachers in cases of bullying and harassment.

The allegations made by the family are part of an ongoing legal matter. The investigation and court proceedings are continuing, and the allegations have not been conclusively established in court.
