According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Welcome To The Jungle has generated approximately ₹91.78 lakh in advance bookings across India, excluding blocked seats, one day ahead of its theatrical release. The film has sold over 40,000 tickets across 6,253 shows, with an average ticket price of ₹232.
Including blocked seats, the advance booking gross rises to approximately ₹2.77 crore. Among key markets, Delhi-NCR contributed around ₹18.35 lakh, while Mumbai recorded advance sales worth nearly ₹11.6 lakh.
Although the film is yet to cross the ₹1 crore mark in official advance sales without blocked seats, trade circles remain optimistic due to strong franchise recall value and expected spot bookings on release day.
Trade Experts React to Advance Booking Performance
Film trade analyst Komal Nahta described the advance booking trend as satisfactory, stating that while the numbers are not extraordinary, they are far from disappointing. He added that predicting the opening-day collection remains difficult before watching the film.
Trade analyst Atul Mohan expressed confidence in the film’s prospects, noting that overall advance bookings have effectively crossed the ₹1 crore milestone. He highlighted the advantage of the Muharram holiday weekend, which could significantly boost walk-in ticket sales and same-day bookings.
According to Mohan, theatre chains have been witnessing strong audience enquiries, suggesting growing interest as the release date approaches.
Welcome To The Jungle Box Office Prediction
Industry experts expect Welcome To The Jungle to benefit from the popularity of the Welcome franchise and Akshay Kumar’s successful return to comedy.
Atul Mohan predicts an opening-day collection in the range of ₹15-20 crore, provided audience reviews remain positive. He believes factors such as the film’s scale, music, promotional campaign, and nostalgia associated with the franchise could drive footfalls.
Komal Nahta also emphasized the strong brand value of the franchise, noting that audiences have traditionally embraced the Welcome series. He added that the film’s recently released action-focused trailer appears more impactful than earlier promotional material.
The positive reception to Akshay Kumar’s recent comedy outing has further strengthened expectations that audiences continue to prefer him in comic roles.
