Gallant’s statement comes a day after 12 people died in pager explosions in Lebanon
Yoav Gallant, the Israeli Defence Minister, announced on Wednesday that they were transitioning into a “new phase” of war, following the deaths of at least 12 individuals from explosions caused by Hezbollah pagers in Lebanon.
“We are opening a new phase in the war – it requires courage, determination and perseverance from us,” he was quoted as saying at an air force base by news agency Reuters.

At the same time, the Israeli Army chief Herzi Halevi mentioned that they possess numerous “capabilities” that they had “not yet activated”.
“We plan ahead by stages. At every stage, the price paid by Hezbollah should be high,” he was quoted as saying by Reuters.

The detonation of pagers utilized by Hezbollah individuals injured more than 2,750 individuals also.
14 died after walkie-talkies exploded in Lebanon on Wednesday
At least 14 individuals lost their lives and more than 450 were wounded following the detonation of walkie-talkies and other electronic gadgets utilized by Hezbollah members on Wednesday, subsequent to the pager blasts a day earlier.

The Lebanese internal security forces reported that several wireless communication devices were exploded in various parts of the country on Tuesday, with a focus on the southern suburbs of Beirut, which is a stronghold of Hezbollah. Hezbollah leaders claimed that their communications had been breached by Israel.
It is reported that Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency, placed bombs in pagers brought in by Hezbollah.
However, a Taiwanese pager manufacturer refuted the claim that they had manufactured the pager devices that detonated in a bold assault, escalating tensions between Hezbollah and Israel.
