Hyundai Motor India today unveiled the Hyundai Creta EV, set to be launched countrywide on January 17 during the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The Hyundai Creta Electric will compete against the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, Mahindra BE 6, Tata Curvv, MG ZS EV, and Toyota Urban Cruiser EV, among others.

Hyundai Creta EV Battery

The Hyundai Creta Electric provides a selection of two battery options — 51.4kWh and 42kWh. The Hyundai Creta EV reportedly offers a range of 473km when using the 51.4kWh battery pack and 390km with the 42kWh battery pack on a full charge.

The Hyundai Creta Electric can be recharged from 10% to 80% in only 58 minutes using a DC fast charger. Using an 11kW wall-mounted AC home charger, charging from 10% to 100% can be completed in merely 4 hours.

Hyundai Creta EV Acceleration

For the bigger battery pack (51.4kWh), the Hyundai Creta Electric is said to have a 0-100kmph acceleration time of 7.9 seconds.

Hyundai Creta EV Exteriors

In profile, the Hyundai Creta EV resembles the internal combustion engine (ICE) variant of the SUV. The front and back are nearly the same, with the exception of the EV-oriented features, which are derived from the automaker’s worldwide Pixel design language for electric vehicles.

The front grille features a pixelated graphic design with an integrated charging port, along with a pixelated graphic lower bumper. Likewise, the back features a pixelated graphic bumper. The electric SUV features active air flaps that regulate air flow, assist in cooling the vehicle parts, and enhance aerodynamic efficiency. It also receives new 17-inch aero alloy rims fitted with low rolling resistance tires.

Hyundai Creta EV Variants and Colors

The Hyundai Creta EV comes in four versions – Executive, Smart, Premium, and Excellence. There are eight monotone and two dual-tone color choices, which feature three matte shades. A new color — Ocean Blue Metallic with a black roof — has been launched.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
