Hollywood actress Daveigh Chase, best known for her roles in The Ring, Lilo & Stitch, and Spirited Away, has reportedly passed away at the age of 35 due to complications caused by meningitis.
According to reports, news of her death was confirmed by her boyfriend, Roy Hernandez, who revealed that the actress had been battling health issues prior to her passing.
Daveigh Chase rose to fame at a young age and became one of Hollywood’s most recognizable child stars. She gained widespread recognition for her performance in the horror film The Ring and achieved further success as a voice actress.
Her breakthrough came when she appeared in the cult classic Donnie Darko at just 10 years old. Chase later voiced Chihiro in the English-language dub of Hayao Miyazaki’s acclaimed animated film Spirited Away. She also became beloved by audiences worldwide for voicing Lilo in Disney’s 2002 hit animated movie Lilo & Stitch.
