Bollywood actress Preity Zinta has rented a premium apartment in Mumbai’s sought-after Pali Hill locality in Bandra West for a monthly rent starting at ₹6 lakh, according to property documents accessed by CRE Matrix.

The apartment is located in the Art Veda building and offers approximately 1,500 sq. ft. of living space, along with a dedicated 100 sq. ft. parking area. The property has been leased from MS Union Land and Building Society Ltd. under a leave-and-license agreement that became effective on May 27, 2026.

As per the agreement, the lease tenure is two years. The monthly rent has been fixed at ₹6 lakh for the first 12 months, after which it will increase to ₹6.5 lakh per month for the remaining year. The deal also includes a security deposit of ₹27 lakh.

Neither Preity Zinta nor the landlord was available for comment on the transaction.

Preity Zinta’s Recent Real Estate Transactions

This latest rental agreement comes months after the actor sold a residential property in Mumbai’s prestigious Pali Hill area for ₹18.50 crore, according to registration documents reviewed by CRE Matrix.

The apartment had been allotted to Zinta in April 2025 following the redevelopment of her previous residential building. The sale marked her second property transaction within a span of four months.

Earlier, in November 2025, she sold a 1,474 sq. ft. apartment located on the 11th floor of the Rustomjee Parishram building in Bandra for more than ₹14 crore.

₹18.5 Crore Apartment Sale in Bandra

In another transaction registered on March 2, 2026, Preity Zinta sold a 1,770 sq. ft. apartment on the same floor of the Rustomjee Parishram project for ₹18.50 crore. The property was purchased by Priya Nagar and Rajeev Nagar, US-based citizens of Indian origin.

The transaction attracted a stamp duty payment of ₹1.11 crore along with a registration fee of ₹30,000.

According to CRE Matrix, the apartment was allotted to Zinta as Permanent Alternate Accommodation (PAA) under a redevelopment agreement between the housing society and Keystone Realtors (Rustomjee). The arrangement was formalised through an agreement executed on October 23, 2023.

Mumbai Real Estate Market Sees Continued Activity in Pali Hill

Pali Hill remains one of Mumbai’s most expensive residential neighbourhoods, attracting celebrities, business leaders, and high-net-worth individuals. Preity Zinta’s recent rental and property transactions highlight the continued demand for luxury homes in Bandra’s premium real estate market.

Beyond her successful Bollywood career, Preity Zinta has built a strong presence in the business world through strategic investments and sports franchise ownership. Known for acclaimed films such as “Dil Se”, “Kal Ho Naa Ho” and “Veer-Zaara”, the actor is also a co-owner of the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Punjab Kings.

Preity Zinta acquired a stake in Punjab Kings in 2008 alongside business partners Ness Wadia, Mohit Burman, and others when the IPL was launched. Reports suggest she invested approximately ₹35 crore in the franchise during its early years.

Over the past decade and a half, the value of IPL franchises has surged significantly. Despite Punjab Kings yet to secure an IPL championship title, the franchise is currently estimated to be worth around ₹1,195 crore, reflecting the remarkable growth of the IPL as one of the world’s most valuable cricket leagues.

Apart from entertainment, Zinta’s portfolio spans sports, real estate, and business ventures, underscoring her evolution from a leading Bollywood star to a prominent entrepreneur and investor.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
