IND vs NZ ICC Champions Trophy:
India will face New Zealand in their final Group A match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai on Sunday (March 2). Both teams have qualified for the semifinals but the highly anticipated clash will play a vital role in the standings of the points table. Men in Blue will look to maintain their dominance remaining unbeaten in the tournament whereas Kiwis would like to damage the opposition’s confidence heading into the final phase of the tournament.
Team India has been in exceptional form, securing convincing victories over Bangladesh and arch-rivals Pakistan in their first two group-stage matches. A win against New Zealand would not only extend their unbeaten streak but also ensure they finish at the top of the points table.
New Zealand, too, have been impressive, winning both of their league games with ease. They will aim to maintain their unbeaten record in this edition and carry momentum into the semifinal in Lahore.
Coming to India’s lineup, Arshdeep Singh, Rishabh Pant, Varun Chakravarthy and Washington Sundar haven’t yet got a match.

KL Rahul talks to the media:
Rahul was asked whether, with India already in the semifinals, the team management might be tempted to give these four players an opportunity.
“I’m not in the leadership group to have to make that decision. But I’m sure there will be some temptation. I’ve been in these positions before where there’s an opportunity where you can try out the players who have important games and do get a game,” Rahul said while speaking to the media on Friday.
India probable XI:
Openers: Rohit Sharma (c), Shubman Gill
Batters: Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul (wk)
