On Saturday morning, Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) were hit by heavy rain, which decreased the temperature to 25 degrees Celsius. In numerous locations, heavy rains combined with thunderstorms and lightning led to major waterlogging and traffic problems.
The India Meteorological Department has forecast isolated heavy to very heavy rain in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi till July 29.

“Light/moderate fairly widespread to widespread rainfall with isolated heavy rainfall is very likely over Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi on July 28-29,” the IMD predicted.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), sections of Delhi experienced light to moderate rainfall on Friday, while the city’s high temperature reached 34.3 degrees Celsius, which is somewhat below average.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 26.6 degrees Celsius. The weather department, on Friday, predicted light to moderate rainfall for Saturday.
