Aamir Khan impressed with son Junaid’s debut film
Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan, who recently made his acting debut with ‘Maharaj,’ revealed how the superstar responded after seeing the film. In a recent interview, the debutant stated that his father was impressed with the film.
Junaid Khan was asked by ANI about his father Aamir Khan’s reaction to the film ‘Maharaj’. He explained, “He usually lets us do whatever we want unless we ask for something extremely particular; then he gives counsel. But he liked the movie. He saw the movie a few months back and really liked it.”
During the same interview, Junaid discussed his feelings about joining the project. He remarked, “When Sid (Siddharth P Malhotra) and Adi Sir phoned me about this topic, I was quite interested. I absolutely enjoyed Sid Sir’s segment. The Yash Raj brand is well-known, therefore taking on this project was an easy decision.”

Junaid expressed his delight at the audience’s reaction to the picture. “I can’t express how I’m feeling right now. “Maharaj has been a long and wild journey for me,” he told ANI.
Maharaj, based on Saurabh Shah’s book and true events, unfolds in 1800s Bombay. It follows Karsandas Mulji (played by Khan), a courageous journalist and dedicated social reformer. The story focuses on his confrontation with a high priest, or ‘maharaj’ (portrayed by Jaideep Ahlawat), accused of sexually exploiting women devotees.
