Stree 2 teaser out; fans can’t wait for the movie
Stree, a horror comedy directed by Amar Kaushik, is widely known as one of the most successful and well-received films of modern era. The movie made it’s fans even more impatient for a sequel.
The teaser for Stree 2 has finally been unveiled, following some intriguing indications from the Maddock Supernatural Universe’s previous installments, Bhediya (2022) and Munjya (2024). Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, Rajkummar, Rao, and Shraddha reprise their roles.
The teaser, spanning a few seconds, sees actors Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee repeat their roles as dwellers of Chanderi, where an evil spirit named Stree frightens men.
Shraddha Kapoor, whose name remained unknown in Stree, also joins the journey in this sequel. Rajkummar Rao shared the teaser on his social media accounts.

Expect another powerful performance from Rajkummar Rao
If the teaser reception is anything to go by, the film will be Rajkummar Rao’s third consecutive hit of the year. The actor has already made an impression at the box office with ‘Srikanth’ and ‘Mr And Mrs Mahi.’
The reaction to the ‘Stree 2’ teaser indicates that the actor is likely to provide some respite to bollywood, further demonstrating that 2024 is the actor’s year. Although ‘Srikanth’ and ‘Mr And Mrs Mahi’ were successful at the box office, Rajkummar Rao is projected to break all previous records with the horror comedy, establishing his standing as the most strong actor.

Rajkummar unveils teaser on his Instagram page
Rajkummar Rao shared the teaser on his Instagram page and wrote, “Iss baar Chanderi mein azaadi ke din hoga aatank! The legend returns this INDEPENDENCE DAY on 15th August! #Stree2 #SheIsBack #Stree2Teaser.” The video opens with Rajkummar Rao and others pouring milk on the statue of Stree. There is a chaos in the village as they keep saying ‘Stree wapas aa gaye’ (Stree has returned). Glimpses of Shraddha Kapoor as Stree is also seen. Tamannaah Bhatia is also seen in the teaser. Fans were quick enough to react. One of the fans wrote, “this Stree is our most favorite.” Another wrote, “Best teaser of the year.”
