The Critics’ Choice Awards 2025 winners were revealed by the Film Critics Guild and GroupM Motion Entertainment. The ceremony celebrated remarkable accomplishments in feature films, short films, documentaries, and web series from all over India. All We Imagine As Light and Diljit Dosanjh’s Amar Singh Chamkila took home several awards at the esteemed event.

Selected by a distinguished jury made up of members from the Film Critics Guild, the winners were chosen from a varied group of nominees that included multiple languages and platforms.

In the Feature Films category, All We Imagine As Light received the prestigious Best Feature Film award for its captivating narrative and artistic excellence. Diljit Dosanjh gave an exceptional performance, winning the Best Actor award for Amar Singh Chamkila, while Darshana Rajendran’s mesmerizing role in Paradise secured her the Best Actress award. Furthermore, Ravi Kishan’s performance in Laapataa Ladies garnered him the Best Supporting Actor award, whereas Kani Kusruti received the Best Supporting Actress prize for her outstanding role in Girls Will Be Girls.

In the Web Series category, Poacher excelled in numerous areas, securing the award for Best Web Series and highlighting the wealth of talent in the digital realm.

Receiving the award for Best Actor in a Feature Film for Imtiaz Ali’s Chamkila, Diljit Dosanjh expressed, “Thank you to the Film Critics Guild for this recognition, bohot bohot shukriya (Thank you very much) for deeming me deserving of this honour. I dedicate this honor to Amar Singh Chamkila and to Imtiaz Sir, who made this wonderful film a reality. I merely got the opportunity to participate—it was all due to Imtiaz sir’s dedication. A huge thank you to the whole cast and crew of the movie.
