Fans eager to watch the film from the comfort of their homes not have to wait much longer. According to a report by 123Telugu, Netflix has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights for Bhooth Bangla. The film is reportedly slated to begin streaming on the platform on June 12.
Bhooth Bangla blends Priyadarshan’s signature comic storytelling with elements of supernatural horror and rural folklore. Rather than depending solely on jump scares, the film balances humour, suspense, and emotional depth, creating a narrative that feels both engaging and firmly rooted in its cultural setting.
The horror-comedy is reported to have collected nearly Rs 175 crore nett at the domestic box office and around Rs 240 crore gross worldwide. Trade experts observed that the film maintained strong audience interest throughout its theatrical run, despite facing competition from several new releases.
