In Begusarai, Bihar, a retired teacher was fatally murdered by unidentified assailants while out on a morning stroll.
The victim Jawahar Chaudhary is a 70-year-old native of Fateha village. He was walking from the village to Fateha Railway Station when the tragedy happened. He was shot there by three masked individuals on a motorcycle.
In addition, Chaudhary saw his son’s murder in February 2021 firsthand.
The police launched an investigation into the incident as soon as they learned about it. A police officer said that a land issue may be related to the murder.
A journalist was shot and killed at his home in Raniganj, in the Araria district, a few days prior to this occurrence.
