Prabhas-Deepika starrer ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ trailer to be out on June 10
The directors of Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s Kalki 2898 AD have been teasing spectators with glimpses of the fictional world for months, building excitement for the film. And the wait for the first look inside the sci-fi epic is almost over, with the release date for the film’s trailer announced.
As a mid-week treat, the film’s producers announced the trailer release date with a new poster, announcing that it will be available on June 10.

Save the date for ‘Kalki 2898 AD’
The much anticipated trailer will be released in many languages on June 10. Prabhas made a special announcement over social media.
Sharing a new poster on Instagram, Prabhas wrote, “Unveiling the future. #Kalki2898AD Trailer on June 10th”.
The poster depicts Prabhas’ character Bhairava fully dressed up, standing on what appears to be a sand dune with his futuristic hamlet in the background. One can also get a look of the new location called ‘Complex’.

The announcement has sent his fans into a frenzy, with some taking to the comments section to express their excitement. “Trailer of the Year,” one said, while another said, “Excited Bhairava”. “Rebel star,” said another, while another said, “Can’t wait”.
In an exclusive interview with Deadline recently, actor Prabhas, shared that Kalki 2898 AD is “made for international audiences”. He said, “The whole film is made for international audiences. That’s why it’s the highest budget, and we’ve got the best actors in the country”. He also discussed his title as a pan-Indian star, saying, “We were hearing for the first time people calling me ‘pan-Indian’. That doesn’t really affect me, but it’s a good feeling to think that people around the country like me now.”
Nag Ashwin’s film is described as a mythology-inspired sci-fi spectacle set in the future. The multilingual magnum opus, Project K, was approved in 2020.
While the plot of the film has remained unknown, Amitabh has just stated that he will play Aswathama. All of the promotional materials suggest an apocalyptic future in which the protagonist rises to save the world from evil.
The film, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani, will release on the big screen on June 27. At the moment, it is believed to be in the post-production phase and is yet to be sent for certification.
