Explosions Rock Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh: Fatalities and Injuries Reported in Chemical and Firecracker Accidents
One person died and at least 17 others were hurt in an explosion at a chemical industry in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. The explosion set the entire plant on fire. Since some people are apparently still trapped inside the factory, further casualties are expected.
In a related event, on Tuesday afternoon, an explosion at a firecracker plant in the Indore region of Madhya Pradesh caused burn injuries to three workers. The explosion occurred in a wooded area.
According to preliminary reports, the factory, located approximately 5 km from Amba Chandan village, had workers producing “sutli” bombs in a shed-like building when there was an explosion, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Umakant Choudhary.

Four persons lost their lives and sixteen more were hurt in an explosion that occurred earlier this month at a chemical business in Sangareddy, Telangana, which was purportedly caused by fire.
The distance between Hyderabad International Airport and the factory is roughly 40 kilometers. The officials stated that the fire was eventually contained after spreading throughout the factory’s grounds. According to officials, the director of the pharmaceutical company and three employees are among the dead.
“People nearby were hurled away by the impact of the reactor explosion at the pharmaceutical business… Four persons have passed away thus far.Ten to fifteen persons were hurt. They are receiving treatment at a hospital after being moved there, a top police official said.
