India vs West Indies Women Cricket: India won the toss and opted to bat first. Openers Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal led a bright start with a century stand. Mandhana continued her red-hot form with another half-century before being run out on 53. Rawal then completed her maiden ODI fifty, scoring 76. Harleen Deol brought up her maiden ODI hundfred in 98 deliveries, ending her stay at the crease at 115 off 103 balls. Jemimah Rodrigues too posted a half-century, scoring 52. For West Indies, Afy Fletcher, Qiana Joseph, Deandra Dottin, and Zaida James took a wicket each.

India began their three-match ODI series against West Indies with a massive win. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side cruised to 211-run win with Renuka Thakur taking a five-wicket haul while opener Smriti Mandhana hitting 91.

Batting first, India racked up 314/9 in their 50 overs. Mandhana was India’s top-scorer of the contest while Harleen Deol (44) and Pratika Rawal (40) also made decent contributions.
