A domestic argument reportedly escalated into a fatal incident in Haryana’s Narnaul district, where a 31-year-old man was allegedly killed by his wife following a dispute over serving cold food.

The incident took place on Sunday in Surani village, Narnaul, Haryana. According to police, Shashikant was allegedly attacked by his wife, Saraswati, during an argument at their residence. As the dispute intensified, Saraswati allegedly slit her husband’s throat with a knife, leading to his death.

Shashikant and Saraswati had been married for three years. It was the second marriage for both individuals. The couple also had a two-year-old son, who was reportedly in another room when the incident occurred.

According to Shashikant’s father, Ram Kumar, the argument began over a domestic issue related to food. He told police that during the altercation, Saraswati allegedly placed a knife on Shashikant’s neck before carrying out the attack.

Following a complaint filed by Ram Kumar, police registered a case and arrested Saraswati. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact sequence of events and the circumstances leading to the incident.

The shocking case has left residents of Surani village stunned, with many gathering near the family’s home after news of the incident spread. Locals expressed disbelief over the tragic turn of events.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
