A social media influencer named Radha has asserted that Dhanashree Verma ought to have requested Rs 40 crore in alimony from Yuzvendra Chahal.
According to Bollywood Shaadis, Radha recently posted a video on her Instagram stories in support of Dhanashree. She also criticized those slut-shaming Dhanashree and reminded everyone that Chahal is an adult who was not compelled to marry the choreographer.
“If bhai was so worried about gold diggers, why didn’t he leverage his personality and kind nature to attract a woman? Why did he throw money at each of them? Why is it generally acceptable for wealthy men to spend money to attract women, but not for women to utilize their beauty to gain that same money? In my opinion, I believe Rs. 4 crore is insufficient for all the slut shaming that she endures due to so-called fans like you. That alone should have been Rs. 40 cr minimum,” the influencer stated.

For those who aren’t aware, it was disclosed earlier this week that Chahal has consented to pay Rs 4.75 crore to Dhanashree. It is said that according to the agreement, Chahal consented to pay Verma a permanent alimony of Rs 4.75 crore. Out of this amount, Rs 2.37 crore has been paid to the choreographer so far. The family court regarded the failure to pay the remaining amount as non-compliance.
This disappointed Chahal’s fans, who subsequently went on social media to criticize Verma. Although some alleged that she capitalized on the situation for monetary benefits, others doubted her self-esteem.
