A female YouTuber reportedly killed her husband with the assistance of her boyfriend after being discovered in an intimate situation at her residence. The crime was discovered when CCTV footage showed the suspect transporting the victim’s body on a motorcycle during the night.

The police apprehended the accused, Ravina (28), a social media content creator from Rewari, after she admitted to strangling her husband Praveen (32) with a dupatta on the night of March 25, 2025. Her partner and co-conspirator, Suresh, who is also a YouTuber from Hisar, is presently fleeing.

Marriage had been strained in last few years

Ravina, living in Joodi village of Rewari, wed Praveen, originally from Gujron Ki Dhani in Bhiwani, in 2017. The pair lived together and had a son named Mukul who was six years old. However, their marriage had become tense in recent years, primarily because of constant arguments regarding Ravina’s increasing presence on social media and her relation with Suresh.

Praveen, employed as a driver at a sand and gravel store, had allegedly objected to Ravina’s intimacy with Suresh — a person she had encountered on Instagram approximately one and a half years prior. The online friendship quickly evolved into a romance, as Ravina and Suresh often met discreetly.

What happened during the night of murder?

As per the police, Praveen came back to his home unexpectedly on the night of March 25 and discovered his wife with Suresh in an intimate position. An intense dispute ensued between the couple. That same night, in a shocking betrayal, Ravina and Suresh reportedly strangled Praveen to death with her dupatta while their son slept in a separate room.

What happened next was just as chilling. At approximately 2 to 2:30 AM, the pair covered Praveen’s deceased body with a cloth and placed it on a motorcycle. In a frantic attempt to conceal the crime, they traveled to Dinod Road on the fringes of Bhiwani, where they disposed of the body in a drainage ditch by the roadside.

The whole incident was recorded on CCTV cameras placed along the pathway. Video clips revealed a man, thought to be Suresh, operating a motorcycle wearing a helmet, as Ravina sat behind him, with a large object, presumed to be Praveen’s body, positioned between them.

When Praveen failed to come back home the next morning, his family became suspicious. His father, Subhash, contacted the police and voiced suspicions regarding his daughter-in-law’s role, highlighting the ongoing conflicts in the marriage.

The police investigation

The police initiated a search operation, gathering CCTV recordings from adjacent streets and exit paths from the area. The significant development occurred when a video revealed the bicycle with the alleged body leaving the vicinity during the late hours.

After collecting significant evidence, such as eyewitness accounts and digital footprints, the police questioned Ravina. During the interrogation, she became emotional and admitted to the crime, revealing her relationship with Suresh and the plot they devised to eliminate Praveen.

Ravina has been detained and placed in judicial custody, while authorities are searching for Suresh, who is still at large. The police are hopeful of apprehending him very soon, having tracked his last known whereabouts and online presence.

The six-year-old son of the couple, now without a father and with his mother imprisoned, has been cared for by Praveen’s family.
