With the huge success of the 2018 hit “Raid”, Ajay Devgn and director Rajkumar Gupta have teamed up again for “Raid 2”. The sequel, which honors the unsung heroes of Income Tax Department, will once more recount a real-life instance from their book. Today, January 6, the gunfire started.
The official X(formerly Twitter) handle of T-Series dropped a poster on Saturday, that featured a pair of legs sporting classy shoes. The text read, “Amay Patnaik is back.” It also revealed the release date of the film i.e. November 15, 2024.

“RAID 2, Shooting begins today”
Today January 6, marks the start of the film’s extended filming across Mumbai, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Abhishek Pathak, and Kumar Mangat Pathak provide the funding.
Abhishek Pathak, the movie’s producer, revealed the information alongside a poster for the upcoming picture. November 15, 2024, will see the theatrical premier of “Raid 2”.

With it’s captivating story, the original movie enthralled moviegoers, and now that the sequel, “Raid 2” is in production, it promises even more intensity with twice as much drama and suspense.
The first section was based on a true income-tax raid on Sardar Inder Singh in the 1980’s, which stood out from others because it was the longest raid in Indian history, spanning three days and two nights. The raid was carried out by IT department officers.
