On January 11, 2023, the Maruti Suzuki eVX concept was unveiled at Auto Expo 2023. Maruti Suzuki has not yet disclosed the specifics of the model’s versions because the eVX is a concept SUV.
The eVX has an emaciated appearance. It has a straight nose and a clamshell bonnet that resembles the design of the new Brezza. The ‘S’ emblem has been shifted lower below the bumper, and the grille is less noticeable. Sleek V-shaped cutouts for daytime running lights and headlights are located on either side. A commanding bumper design with substantial skid plates is located lower down. The wheel arches and flush door handles have protruding character lines in the profile.
Large, blacked-out aero wheels and low-profile tires power the eVX. Moving to the back, there’s a high-positioned LED tail lamp strip running across the tailgate. The eVX Concept’s interior design has not been revealed by Maruti Suzuki, but the platform is said to offer “class-leading cabin comfort, convenience, and connected features.”
When introduced into production, the Maruti Suzuki eVX Concept will use a 60kWh battery pack that features safe battery technology. The manufacturer states that the vehicle has a 550-kilometer driving range, although not disclosing power levels.
The Suzuki Motor Gujarat (SMG) Hansalpur plant, 90 km from Ahmedabad, is where the upcoming eVX and its Toyota counterpart will be built. SMG is a fully owned subsidiary of Maruti Suzuki India. Since it opened for business in 2017, this plant has produced its third million automobiles. Maruti produces roughly 7.5 lakh units of its popular vehicles, including the Baleno, Swift, Dzire, and Fronx, here.
Depending on the variant chosen, the Maruti eVX pricing range is anticipated to be between Rs. 20.00 Lakh and Rs. 25.00 Lakh.
