The Pakistan Telegraph reported on Thursday that a suicide bombing in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province resulted in at least eight security officers dying and 17 others being hurt.
The article cited police sources as stating that a suicide bomber on a motorcycle attacked a security forces convoy in the Mali Khel region.
This is the second occurrence of this kind in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in more than a month. On July 30, a suicide bomber detonated a device during a political party conference, leaving at least 54 people dead and over 100 injured.
Over 400 JUI-F members and supporters were attending the meeting.
