On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked RJD chairman Lalu Yadav for his “meaningless” comment about the Maha Kumbh, claiming that those involved in the “jungleraj” had animosity toward Hinduism.
“The Mahakumbh, or great assembly of unity, is currently happening in Prayagraj. Together, the NDA administration is preserving India’s rich history and constructing a bright future. At a rally in Bhagalpur, Bihar, PM Modi stated, “But these people who support jungle raj hate our heritage and our faith.”
PM Modi said at a rally releasing the 19th installment of PM KISAN.

The Prime Minister claimed that the RJD is demeaning the holy congregation in spite of the enormous number of devotees who took a holy plunge at Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj during the Maha Kumbh.
“This is the largest celebration of India’s harmony, unity, and faith. This Mahakumbh has seen more pilgrims take a sacred bath than all of Europe combined. But those who back jungle raj are demeaning this holy day,” he remarked.
Lalu’s remarks on Maha Kumbh
His comments followed Lalu’s description of Maha Kumbh as “meaningless” in response to this month’s stampede deaths at the New Delhi Railway Station.
“The Kumbh has no meaning… It is just meaningless,” Lalu had said, drawing a sharp reaction from the BJP which called his statement “politics of appeasement”.
Several big leaders have gone on to criticise the present Maha Kumbh. Samajwadi Party chairman Akhilesh Yadav claimed that the Uttar Pradesh government created the word “Maha” Kumbh to waste money and that there is no such thing as “Maha Kumbh,” despite West Bengal chairman Minister Mamata Banerjee calling it “Mrityu Kumbh.”
