The new MG Windsor EV is becoming increasingly popular each month. Although it was the top-selling electric vehicle in India during October and November, it became the best-seller in December, surpassing all models from competing car manufacturers.
The month also marked a significant achievement for MG Windsor EV segment, which contributed over 70 per cent of the total sales. December 2024 has been a highlighting month for the brand, setting new records for monthly EV sales.
JSW MG Motor India reported that the Windsor EV retained its leading spot in the electric passenger vehicle category for the third month in a row, achieving sales of 3,785 units.
In a span of three months, the Windsor EV has surpassed 10,000 sales, reaching a total of 10,045 units. These are impressive numbers for a new model since the electric vehicle sector is still in its infancy in India, making up less than 3% of the total cars sold in the local market.
