Gambhir is also excited to work with VVS Laxman, who is serving as India’s interim head coach for the five-match T20I series in Zimbabwe. Following its tour of Zimbabwe, India will host Sri Lanka for three T20Is and as many One Day Internationals (ODIs). The next Sri Lanka series will be the newly appointed head coach’s first responsibility.
