Song Joong-ki, the Korean actor, and his wife, British actress Katy Louise Saunders, have had their second child, a baby girl, in Rome.
“Song Joong-ki shared the happy announcement with a statement and a photo of him holding his new baby’s small hand. “It has been more than a year since I first met my child. I am extremely thankful to announce that we have been fortunate to welcome another lovely baby. The birth of our beautiful princess went smoothly, and my wife and our baby are both doing well and resting,” the actor’s statement read.
High Zium Studio, his agency, also verified the information by announcing that “Song Joong Ki has become a father to a baby girl today. He appreciates all those who are sending him congratulatory messages, so please continue to send him your blessings and support.”
Song Joong-ki’s most recent news comes several months after HighZium Studio, his agency, announced in July that he and Katy Louise Saunders were anticipating their second child. The pair celebrated the arrival of their first baby, a boy, in June 2023.

The Vincenzo actor tied the knot with the British actor in January of the same year, following their public announcement of their relationship in December 2022.
Song Joong-ki’s latest appearance was in the Netflix movie titled My Name is Loh Kiwan. His next appearance will be in Bogota: City of the Lost. The actor also recently had a brief appearance in the popular K-drama Queen of Tears starring Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won.
