The upcoming movie Don 3 is in the process of being made, featuring Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani in the lead roles, with Farhan Akhtar as the director. As the movie gears up for filming, the most recent update indicates that actor Vikrant Massey from The Sabarmati Report has been contacted to play the villain in the film.
India Today’s report states that Vikrant Massey, known for his exceptional performance in 12th Fail, has been given the opportunity to play the main villain in Don 3.
The main antagonist role would be given to him in the movie opposite the ever youthful Ranveer Singh. Even though the offer is thrilling, Vikrant has not made a final decision yet.
The report also stated that Farhan Akhtar has not yet given any official statement about it.
In a different podcast featuring YouTuber Raj Shamani, Farhan talked about why he chose Singh as lead actor for Don 3 and his decision of not to do a trilogy with Shah Rukh Khan.
Farhan clarified that the Don 3 script required a “new-age actor,” prompting him to select Ranveer. He commended the actor for his charm, playfulness, and energy.

The Director noted that his role in the film is different from anything he has done before, and he feels that there is a certain aspect of Ranveer’s performance that has yet to be fully explored.
Meanwhile, a recent report by News 18 Showsha has disclosed that Don 3 is presently in pre-production.
Vikrant was seen in a negative shade in Sector 36, portraying a psychopathic murderer. The audience and critics both highly valued his performance.
He will next appear in The Sabarmati Report, where he will be alongside Raashi Khanna and Ridhi Dogra.
Due to the success of 12th Fail, Vikrant is now being presented with some thrilling projects. Massey is known for his remarkable projects like A Death in the Gunj, Chhapaak, and Haseen Dillruba.
