Senior Bollywood Actor Anil Kapoor has been acknowledged for his important efforts in combatting the constraints of artificial intelligence (AI). He is the sole Indian to make it onto Time Magazine’s list of the top 100 most influential individuals globally, recognized for his contributions to the field of artificial intelligence.

Anil Kapoor, sharing the news on Instagram, expressed his gratitude for the same. He wrote, “With immense gratitude and a humble heart, I find myself among the visionaries shaping the future of Artificial Intelligence. This recognition by TIME is not just an honour, but a moment of reflection on the journey of innovation and creativity. Thank you for recognising this endeavour @time (sic).”

Earlier this year, Anil Kapoor made it onto the list following a major legal victory against artificial intelligence (AI) in the Delhi High Court. He had taken legal action to safeguard his intellectual property rights, aiming to protect his name, image, likeness, voice, and other personal attributes from unauthorized usage, particularly on digital platforms.
The actor was included in this prestigious list along with Hollywood actor Scarlett Johansson, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, and others. In a previous interview, Anil Kapoor discussed how AI could easily be exploited and used for commercial purposes.
On the work front, Anil Kapoor’s latest appearance was in ‘Fighter’. He appeared in a movie alongside Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Karan Singh Grover.

Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Electronics and Information Technology and Nandan Nilekani, Co-founder of Infosys and Chairman of EkStep have also featured in the ‘Shapers’ category of the TIME 100, underscoring India’s increasing impact on the AI industry.
