Prajwal Revanna, a Karnataka MP and Janata Dal (Secular) politician who left the nation due to sexual harassment claims, has stated that he will appear before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) on May 31.
In a video message, Prajwal Revanna stated, “Don’t misunderstand me; on the 31st at 10 a.m., I will be in front of the SIT and will cooperate.” I trust the judiciary, and these are fake accusations against me. “I trust the law.”
The 33-year-old Hassan MP is accused of sexually abusing women. He departed the nation on April 26 after videos of him sexually assaulting many women surfaced.

Terms the allegations as ‘a political conspiracy’
Prajwal Revanna described the claims as “a political conspiracy” and stated that he was in “depression and isolation”. He also apologized to his family and party workers for not disclosing his whereabouts.
“I want to apologise to my family members, my Kumaranna [uncle HD Kumaraswamy], and the party workers for not providing proper information about my whereabouts abroad. On April 26, when the elections were over, there was no case against me. The SIT wasn’t formed. Two or three days after I left, I saw these allegations against me on YouTube. I also wrote to the SIT via my lawyer asking for seven days’ time,” he said.
Prajwal Revanna further stated that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and other opposition leaders openly discussed his issue, claiming, “This is a political conspiracy.”

Last week, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting to cancel the diplomatic passport of Prajwal.
