A woman who follows Islam from Bahraich in Uttar Pradesh has claimed that her husband divorced her by saying ‘triple talaq’ after she expressed admiration for the progress of Ayodhya under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. “I am a resident of Mohalla Sarai, Thana Jarwal Road in Bahraich. On December 13, 2023, I was married to Arshad, son of Islam, a resident of Mohalla Delhi Darwaza in Kotwali Nagar, Ayodhya. My father got me married with the consent of both parties and by spending more than his means,” the woman was quoted as saying by news agency PTI in its report.

Husband allegedly threw hot lentils at her

“After getting married, I enjoyed the streets of Ayodhya Dham, the city’s beautification, progress, and overall vibe when I ventured out. I expressed my admiration for Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in front of my husband,” she stated. Afterward, the husband returned her to her parents’ residence. He supposedly threw a pot of hot lentils at her as well. Eventually, the family members intervened. Afterward, the woman came back to Ayodhya to reside with her spouse, as stated by Jarwal Road Police Station Incharge Inspector Brijraj Prasad.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
