At least 5 people were killed and 22 others injured in a deadly attack that took place at the headquarters of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAS), a state-run aerospace company located near Turkey’s capital Ankara.
Several videos are storming the internet showing the terrorists entering the TUSAS Headquarters, with one such photograph depicting a man with an AK assault rifle running in what appears to be a parking lot.
The attackers, were identified as a man and a woman, were killed during the encounter. The CCTV footage also captured them wearing backpacks, carrying guns, and approaching the Industry’s headquarters.

Although no group has claimed responsibility for the attack, Turkish defense minister Yasar Guler suggested that the militant Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK) could be responsible for the deadly attack.
The PKK
The PKK is classifies as a terrorist organisation by Turkey, the European Union and The United States. The attack occurred after the leader of Turkey’s Nationalist Movement Party brought up Kurdish relations in Parliament, suggesting the release of the PKK’s jailed leader if he disbanded the organization.

“The Vile Attack”
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who was on a trip to Russia to attend the BRICS Summit, at the time of attack, he condemned the “hateful attack” alongside Russian President Vladimir Putin.
” The terrorist attack against TAI, one of the locomotive organizations of the Turkish defense industry, is a vile attack targeting the survival of our country, the peace of our nation, and our defense initiatives that are symbol of our “Fully Independent Turkey” ideal” , he said on a post on X.

Turkish Airstrikes in Iraq and Syria
In a retaliatory attack, the Turkish military struck PKK targets in northern Iraq and Syria, according to the Turkish state-run news agency Anadolu. The Kurdish led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) reported that the Turkish military shelled Kobani City and the city of Tal Rifa’at, resulting in the deaths of of two civilians and injuring six others.
