The grand new stylish iQOO 13: A quick review

The iQOO 13 has adopted the design style of its forerunner, the iQOO 12. The rear panel includes a square camera module that contains three lenses and a ring light. Although the phone is somewhat thick (at 8.13mm), it sits comfortably in my hand.

Recently, brands primarily recognized for their mid-range products are gradually dominating the premium market. The latest example is the iQOO 13, which was released with a starting price of Rs 54,999. The main point: It is just the second smartphone to feature the newest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, after the Realme GT 7 Pro released in November.

The smartphone comes with a large 6.82-inch screen, a 50-megapixel main camera, and a 6,000mAh battery. Although we will save our concluding remarks for our in-depth review, here is our initial impression of the iQOO 13.

iQOO design features

The iQOO 13 has adopted the design style of its forerunner, the iQOO 12. The rear panel includes a square camera module that contains three lenses and a ring light. Although the phone is somewhat thick (at 8.13mm), it sits comfortably in my hand.

The sleek phone becomes even more appealing with the BMW design. I got the Legend Edition for evaluation, and I’m really enjoying it. The back panel is generally sleek and showcases the signature BMW tri-colour stripe. The frosted white glass material offers an elegant and subtle touch.

Another standout feature of the iQOO 13 is its display. It establishes a new standard as it features the globe’s first Q10 2K 144Hz Ultra Eyecare screen. It additionally features LTPO technology for changing refresh rates dynamically.

iQOO battery and other specs

The iQOO 13 is driven by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and operates on FunTouchOS 15, which is built on Android 15. This newest processor is arguably the most potent SoC available online at the moment. It is available in two configuration choices: 12GB+256GB and 16GB+512GB.

The company asserts that the iQOO 13 is the quickest smartphone in the nation.

With the iQOO 13, the brand has aimed at gamers. The smartphone is equipped with a Supercomputing Q2 chip, guaranteeing smooth performance for intensive games without lag. We will learn more once we subject it to thorough performance evaluations and benchmarks during the review.

Special features

Regarding photography, the iQOO 13 features a triple camera setup, which includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 main sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

The front-facing camera is a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera looks to perform best in daylight. With sufficient lighting, the camera captures bright and clear pictures.

The iQOO 13 is an attractive flagship smartphone, showcasing a variety of intriguing specifications and characteristics. Firstly, it is the second smartphone in India to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, setting it apart.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
