Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a rally in Tamil Nadu‘s Salem on Tuesday, accused the INDI alliance leaders of deliberately insulting Hindu dharma, alleging that their every statement against the religion is carefully calculated.
In the recent Mumbai rally of the INDI alliance, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi described the bloc as “fighting against a Shakti.” The statement spread across India like wildfire on Sunday, with BJP followers accusing Rahul Gandhi of making another anti-Hindu remark. The ruling party left no stone unturned to make this a significant front in the fight up to the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

PM Modi Welcomes PMK into the NDA Alliance For Lok Sabha Elections 2024
As the April 19 Lok Sabha polls in Tamil Nadu draw near, the BJP intensifies its focus on the southern state, aiming to secure as many as 39 constituencies as part of its ‘mission 400’ seats nationwide. Acknowledging PMK’s entry into NDA, PM Modi expressed optimism, stating, “I welcome Ramadoss into our alliance.”
PM Modi’s engagement in Tamil Nadu and Kerala reflects the party’s strategic efforts to bolster support in the southern region. His recent participation in a massive roadshow in Kerala’s Palakkad aimed to rally support for NDA candidates, underlining the BJP’s determination to expand its presence in traditionally less favorable territories.
This visit follows PM Modi’s address in Pathanamthitta town on March 15, where he rallied support for NDA candidates, vowing that “The Lotus is going to bloom in Kerala” in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
With an increase in BJP’s vote share from the Palakkad constituency in the previous elections and PM Modi’s frequent visits to Kerala and Tamil Nadu, the party aims to capitalize on the momentum, projecting itself as a formidable force in the southern political landscape.
