Following the case of Ketan Agarwal’s alleged murder, the parents of the accused, Siya Goel, have finally spoken out.
Siya’s father reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest and was admitted to the intensive care unit around the time the family gave statements to the media. Despite his deteriorating health, he maintained that their family comes from a respectable background with no history of such incidents.
In an emotional statement, he said, “If my daughter is convicted of the crime, push her from the same place where she pushed Ketan.” His words reflect the moral and emotional dilemma he finds himself in—a father choosing morality over parental emotions.
Siya’s Mother Claims Both Families Shared a Good Relationship
Siya’s mother, on the other hand, stated that everything had been going extremely well between the two families before the incident. According to her, Ketan’s parents were extremely fond of Siya and always treated her with respect. She added that their family also welcomed Ketan warmly and had no issues with him personally.
While she agreed with her husband’s statement that Siya should be punished if she is found guilty, her tone later became more defensive. She claimed that Ketan’s family was aware that Siya never wanted to marry him. However, because an enormous amount of money had already been spent on the wedding preparations, neither Ketan nor his family was willing to call off the marriage.
Siya Goel Claims She Was in Love With Chetan Choudhary
According to reports, Siya told investigators that she was in love with Chetan Choudhary and that Ketan was fully aware of it. Despite this, she alleged that he insisted on going ahead with the marriage.
She also claimed that if she had chosen to elope with Chetan, Ketan’s influential family connections would have tracked her down from anywhere in the world.
Goa Party Videos Spark Outrage on Social Media
Recent videos circulating on X (formerly Twitter) have added another layer of controversy to the case. The clips allegedly show Siya celebrating her birthday at an expensive club in Goa, dancing and consuming alcohol.
The videos surfaced only days after she had shared an emotional Instagram Story mourning Ketan, leading to widespread criticism and raising questions about her conduct following his death.
A Tragic Case That Destroyed Two Families
Siya had other options. She could have sought help from her family or firmly refused to go ahead with the marriage. Instead, according to the allegations against her, she chose to end Ketan’s life.
If the allegations are proven in court, that decision not only ended Ketan’s life but also destroyed her own. It shattered two families—one that lost its son, and another that may lose its daughter if she is ultimately convicted.
