Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, along with members of Kejriwal’s family, have already been reported among those flagged in the exercise. Gupta, enrolled in Shalimar Bagh (AC-14), was flagged over an apparent age-related discrepancy involving her and her parents. After she submitted supporting documents, election officials verified her particulars and confirmed that her name would be retained for the final roll.
Kejriwal and his family members were classified as “unmapped with last SIR” in New Delhi (AC-40), meaning their current electoral details could not initially be linked to the previous intensive revision.
Sandhu’s notice reportedly relates to a spelling discrepancy in his name, while Jaishankar and his wife, K.S. Jaishankar, also figure in the list. Sibal, Singhvi and Misri were reportedly flagged primarily because their current records could not be mapped to the previous SIR database.
The compilation also includes former Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar and his wife, retired Supreme Court judge Madan B. Lokur, former Union minister Subramanian Swamy and several serving and retired government officials.

The notices are part of a large-scale verification exercise. More than 31 lakh electors have been served notices after their records were either not linked to the previous SIR roll or were flagged for what election authorities describe as “logical discrepancies”.
The draft electoral roll published on August 31 contained around 97.5 lakh electors. Of those flagged for verification, about 13.8 lakh could not be mapped to the previous SIR, while roughly 19.3 lakh were identified as having discrepancies involving details such as names, dates of birth or family relationships.
Election authorities have stressed that receiving a notice does not amount to deletion from the electoral roll. The affected voters have the opportunity to submit supporting documents and appear before the Electoral Registration Officer during the claims-and-objections process.
The verification exercise will continue before the final electoral roll is published on November 4, 2026.
