The sub-brand of Xiaomi, Redmi, is preparing to launch its budget-friendly 5G smartphone in India — the Redmi 14C. The phone is set to be released on January 6, 2025. Following the introduction of the Redmi 13C in 2023, the company plans to introduce multiple enhancements with the 14C.

Although the company will reveal the new phone in a few days, the Amazon listing provides some details. For example, the Redmi 14C features a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor and a large 5160mAh battery. Let’s explore more thoroughly the specifics of the forthcoming phone.

What we know about Redmi 14C

The Amazon micro-website shows that the Redmi 14C will feature an appealing and redesigned look compared to the Redmi 13C. The smartphone features a circular module on the back panel that contains a dual camera configuration. It will be available in three shades: Starlight Blue, Stardust Purple, and Stargaze Black. Although the purple and black versions adhere to a monochrome scheme, the blue version features a touch of silver on the top and blue at the bottom, resulting in an ombre appearance. To ensure durability, the phone has an IP52 rating, which makes it resistant to dust and water.

The phone has a 6.88-inch screen on the front that boasts a 120Hz refresh rate. As per the company, the Redmi 14C features the largest display in its segment. The screen is additionally certified with TUV low blue light, TUV flicker-free, and TUV Circadian certifications, enhancing its eye-friendliness.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
