Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that Pakistan was behaving “shamelessly” and had revealed its true character to the entire world after conducting funeral processions for terrorists who died in Operation Sindoor.
“On April 22, Pakistani terrorists carried out a barbaric attack in Pahalgam. In line with Prime Minister Modi’s resolve, the Indian Army has given a strong and fitting response. Today, Pakistan is seen writhing before the world. Yet, Pakistan continues to act shamelessly. By participating in the funerals of terrorists, the Pakistani Army is exposing Pakistan’s true face,” he said.
This occurs after Pakistan escalated situation at the International Border and along the LoC, launching numerous drones and missiles in various locations across Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, and Rajasthan. Officials stated that more than 50 drones were intercepted and shot down midair by the Indian air defense system.

Air Force’s response to threat ‘measured’
Sources indicated that the Indian Air Force has declared that the Air Defence Umbrella implemented by the IAF guarantees the safety of the people.
Throughout the night, systems such as C-UAS, Pechora, SAMAR, and Air Defence artillery were utilized successfully. The IAF’s strong and invulnerable air defense system continues to stay on high alert. The Air Force’s reaction to the threat was calculated and precise, sources indicated.

Delhi Police increases security around historic monuments
