The registration process for National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam (NEET) for undergraduate courses has been started by The National Testing Agency. The last day to register for the test is March 9, 2024.

The deadline for successfully completing a fee transaction via credit/debit card, net-banking, or API is March 9, 2024, at 11:50p.m. NRIs and candidates in the general category will need to pay ₹ 1,700.

On the other hand, candidates from SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender and General-EWS/OBC-NCL can pay ₹ 1,000 and ₹ 1,600, respectively. Later on the website, information about the date of the correction window opening and admit card release will be provided.

The exam is slated to take place from 2 p.m. to 5:20 p.m. on May 5, 2024. The duration of the exam is two hours and thirty minutes. On June 14, 2024, the results of the medical admission exam will be made public.

The exam centers for NEET UG 2024 have been increased this year. The total number of examination cities across the country has been increased to 554 instead of 499 cities last year. The candidate has to select any four cities of his/her choice for the NEET UG 2024 examination. According to media reports, this time as per the decision of the National Medical Commission, the NEET UG 2024 exam will not be conducted outside India.

Candidates may only apply online via the website for NEET (UG) – 2024; applications submitted in any other manner will not be accepted. The applications are available on the NTA’s official website.

1. Go to website’s link
2. Click on NEET UG Exam 2024 registration link
3. Enter your details and complete registeration
4. Sign in using registered id and password
5. Fill application form
6. Submit the form along with fees
7. Download registration form for use in future

Documents required
1. Latest Passport size pic (JPG file)
2. Post card size pic (JPG file)
3. Signature (JPG)
4. Left-hand thumb impression (JPG)
5. High-school passing certificate (PDF)
6. Category certificate in case you belong to SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc (PDF)
7. Documentary proof of citizenship in the form of a citizenship certificate, an embassy certificate, or any other certificate in PDF format (if relevant)
