Update On New Dates For UP Police Constable Recruitment Revised Exam – 

The Uttar Pradesh Government has promised to hold the UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam again in six months. As per reports, the canceled exam accepted invitations from 48 Lakh candidates.

CM Yogi Adityanath emphasized that strict action would be taken against those found guilty of involvement in the alleged paper leak. He asserted, “There can be no compromise with the sanctity of examinations. Those who play with the hard work of the youth will not be spared under any circumstances. Strictest action is certain to be taken against such unruly elements.” This statement underscores the government’s determination to ensure accountability and deter any attempts to undermine the integrity of examinations.

Agitation Against UP Government by Aspirants

The cancellation of the police constable recruitment examination, organized by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, comes in the wake of mounting pressure from civil service aspirants who have been protesting against the alleged leaking of question papers. The agitation, now in its fifth day, has seen aspirants rallying outside the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission’s gates, demanding transparency and fairness in the recruitment process.

In response to these developments, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took to social media platform X to announce the cancellation and reassure the public of the government’s resolve to address the issue. He stated, “UP Police constable civil police exams 2023 canceled, orders given to re-conduct the exams within the next 6 months….” This decision reflects the government’s commitment to upholding the highest purity and transparency standards in recruitment processes.

UP Government Initiates Enquiry Into RO/ARO Examination Fraud

Alongside the cancellation of the police constable recruitment examination, the UP government has also initiated an inquiry into the alleged irregularities and rigging in the RO/ARO examination.
