The first session featured key presentations — the Financial Report presented by Rev. Dr. G.S. Gangte, Treasurer of KZC, and the Organisational Activity Report delivered by Pu Henlianthang Thanglet, Chairman of KZC. Both reports offered detailed insights into the Council’s finances, recent outreach initiatives, and collaborative activities between its constituent organisations. Members noted the need for stronger coordination mechanisms and community mobilisation to sustain momentum in the months ahead.

  1. The tenure of the KZC Cabinet will be fixed at two years.

  2. The current Cabinet will continue to serve for the next term.

  3. A public rally or protest will be organised soon to reinforce the community’s political aspirations and demand tangible progress from the government.

The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of unity, solidarity, and determination to continue the Kuki-Zo movement until the community’s long-standing aspirations and constitutional rights are duly recognised and achieved.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
