The ICC Champions Trophy is back for the first time since 2017, featuring eight teams vying for a substantial grand prize of $2.24 million (USD).
The second place finishers will earn $1.12 million, whereas each defeated semi-finalist will go home with $560,000. The overall prize pool has risen significantly by 53 percent since the 2017 edition, totaling $6.9 million.
In the Champions Trophy, every game will be crucial since each group stage victory is valued at more than $34,000 for the winning team.
Teams that end in fifth or sixth position will earn $350,000 each, whereas the teams finishing on seventh and eighth spot will receive $140,000.
Furthermore, every one of the eight teams is assured a prize of $125,000 for taking part in the event.

This tournament signifies the first occasion Pakistan will hold an ICC event since 1996.
The 2025 version includes eight teams divided into two groups of four, where the top two from each group move on to the semi-finals.
The ICC Men’s Champions Trophy is set to occur every four years, showcasing the top eight ODI teams globally, whereas the Women’s Champions Trophy will launch in 2027 with a T20 format.
