Kajol’s ‘The Trial’ co-star Noor Malabika Das found dead in her Mumbai apartment
Actor Noor Malabika Das, who has appeared in various webshows, was discovered dead in her Mumbai residence, with police suspecting suicide.
Das, a former Qatar Airways air hostess, hailed from Assam and lived in Lokhandwala, Mumbai. She co-starred with Kajol in the 2023 judicial drama ‘The Trial’.
Her body was discovered in her flat on Thursday after her neighbors reported a bad odor to the police, according to reports.

The cops forced open the door and discovered the 37-year-old actor’s body in a decayed state. As part of the investigation, they obtained samples from her residence, including pharmaceuticals and mobile phones.
According to an official, no suicide note was found in her flat, and an accidental death report (ADR) has been submitted. An autopsy has also been performed.
Who was Noor Malabika Das?
According to multiple media outlets, Noor Malabika Das formerly worked as an air hostess before embarking on a career in the entertainment business. She was born in Assam and began her acting career with performances in many films and web series.
She acted in few films and web series including ‘Siskiyaan’, ‘Walkaman’, ‘Teekhi Chatni’, ‘Jaghanya Upaya’, ‘Charamsukh’, ‘Dekhi Andekhi’, and ‘Backrod Hustale’.

The actress has a large following on Instagram and constantly communicated with her fans. She delighted and engaged her followers with her updates, which included images and videos, while also offering peeks into her life and career. Her active presence on social media enabled her to reach a large following.
In May 2023, Noor Malabika Das uploaded a photo with Anupamaa actor Sudhanshu Pandey, reflecting on the start of her adventure in Mumbai in 2018. In the caption, she remarked, “Starting of Mumbai journey 2018..one of my favorite & great actor (friend) One & only Pandey Jee.”
