Irinjalakuda Police registered case against Major Ravi
A charge has been filed against Malayalam film director Major Ravi for allegedly duping a financial institution out of nearly Rs 12 lakh by fraudulently promising to provide security services.
On Friday, Irinjalakuda police filed a case against the “Keerthichakra” filmmaker, as directed by a Judicial First Class Magistrate.

The complainant’s financial firm recently approached the court seeking action against the accused, and the court ordered detectives to look into the claims.
According to police, Ravi and a co-accused approached the financial firm claiming to be director board members of a private security group called “Thunder Force Ltd” and promising to provide security and collect information on individuals and establishments who failed to repay loan installments.

They also allegedly took Rs 12, 48,000 from the complainant for the offered services. However, they claimed that the accused did not provide the service or return the money.
Major Ravi and his co-accused were charged under the relevant parts of the cheating law.
Major Ravi has directed some major Malayali projects
After leaving from the Indian Army, Major Ravi directed a few films, notably those starring Mohanlal and Mammootty. He has yet to respond to the case’s registration.
