On Thursday, the body of a nine-year-old girl was discovered in the swimming pool of a Bengaluru apartment complex. The victim was identified as the daughter of an employee of a private corporation and a Class 4 student.
According to the details, the incident happened at the Prestige Lakeside Habitat complex, wherein the family of the girl resided.
The incident took place at nearly 7.30 pm on Thursday.
As soon as housing society members noticed the girl’s body, they hurried her to a hospital. But when they got there, they proclaimed her dead.
She was playing with a few other kids when the incident happened, according to a complaint that was filed in connection with the case.
The girl’s parents believed that electrocution was the cause of her death.
