Nasser Hussain predicts Kohli’s return ahead of the Rajkot Test

Former England captain Nasser Hussain has voiced his anticipation of witnessing Kohli back in action for the remaining three Tests. He also ruled out Mohammed Shami’s comeback in the Test series team and Ravindra Jadeja.

Hussain said:

”Mohammad Shami, I think, is out for the series, Ravi Jadeja could well be out for another Test match and Virat Kohli has been out of the first two. We are talking about some serious cricketers there. Kohli may well come back in, KL Rahul also, so I would expect a stronger Indian side in those last three games of the series. England will know that they’re going to have to up their game.”

Concurrently, Indian cricket team head coach Rahul Dravid has shed light on the deliberations within the selectors’ panel and the prospective course of action concerning Kohli’s involvement. Against the backdrop of key players such as Mohammed Shami and KL Rahul grappling with injuries, Kohli’s return promises to fortify India’s batting order and inject vitality into the team’s overall performance.

Will Kohli return for the remaining three Test matches remains a mystery. However, BCCI’s impending squad announcement will put things in clear perspective.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
