Suhani Bhatnagar, who portrayed a young Babita Kumari Phogat in Aamir Khan’s “Dangal,” passed away on February 17, in Delhi. She was nineteen.
The actor apparently experienced a pharmaceutical adverse effect following a leg fracture. The producing company of Aamir Khan verified her passing.
They sent a letter on Instagram that said, “We are so sorry to learn of our Suhani’s loss. We send our deepest sympathies to her mother Poojaji and the whole family. Suhani is such a gifted young woman and a great team player; Dangal wouldn’t have been the same without her.” “Suhani, you will always remain a star in our hearts,” the note said. I hope you find tranquility when you slumber.
Nitesh Tiwari, the director of “Dangal,” expressed his sorrow and heartbreak at Suhani’s loss. She had such a vibrant, joyful spirit. My sincere sympathies go out to her family.
Suhani reportedly experienced a negative effect from the medication she took during her treatment for a leg fracture, according to a Jagran story. Her body began to retain fluid, according to reports, and this is thought to be the cause of her premature death. But official confirmation of the same is still pending.
Suhani was reportedly admitted to AIIMS hospital in Delhi for quite some time for treatment. Her last rites will take place on Saturday.
After starring as a young Babita Kumari Phogat in the 2016 movie “Dangal,” Suhani rose to fame. She appeared on screen alongside Zaira Wasim, Sakshi Tanwar, and Aamir Khan. She appeared in a few ads as well.
While Suhani took a vacation from acting to concentrate on her academics, her co-star Zaira made a public announcement in June 2019 about her desire to leave the film profession. She didn’t use social media frequently. November 2021 was when she last posted.
