Vikas Yadav, wanted by FBI for allegedly planning murder of Pannun, was arrested by Delhi Police 10 months ago in an abduction case
Vikash Yadav, who was being sought by the FBI for allegedly planning the assassination of Khalistani extremist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, was apprehended by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police 10 months ago for his involvement in a case of attempted murder and abduction. The accuser, a businessman from Delhi, also associated him with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
One more individual was taken into custody with Vikash in the case filed in December 2023. Vikash was granted bail in April 2024. Vikash was arrested weeks after being identified by the US Department of Justice (DoJ) as “CC-1” (co-conspirator) in the case involving a “murder-for-hire.”
The entrepreneur, who runs an IT firm and is connected to numerous Indians in the Middle East, soon developed a friendship with Vikash and swapped contact numbers. In the businessman’s complaint, he stated that Vikash claimed to be an undercover agent but never disclosed any details about his job and workplace.
The businessman claimed that Vikash lured him to Lodhi Road on December 11 by saying they needed to talk about a serious matter. Upon reaching the destination, Vikash and another person kidnapped the businessman and took him to a residence in the Defence Colony neighborhood.

According to Delhi entrepreneur, Vikas disclosed Bishnoi had assigned him task of killing him
As per the businessman, Vikash disclosed that gangster Lawrence Bishnoi had assigned him the task of killing him. The man in businessman was attacked and had his gold chain and rings were taken from him. Then Vikash and his partner took the businessman to his café and confiscated all the money.
After threatening businessman with severe consequences if he reported the crime, Yadav and his assistant abandoned him and ran away.
On December 18, following the businessman’s complaint, Delhi Police arrested Vikash and his accomplice. A case was registered under charges of kidnapping, criminal conspiracy, and attempted murder.
