Vikas Yadav, wanted by FBI for allegedly planning murder of Pannun, was arrested by Delhi Police 10 months ago in an abduction case

Vikash Yadav, who was being sought by the FBI for allegedly planning the assassination of Khalistani extremist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, was apprehended by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police 10 months ago for his involvement in a case of attempted murder and abduction. The accuser, a businessman from Delhi, also associated him with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

One more individual was taken into custody with Vikash in the case filed in December 2023. Vikash was granted bail in April 2024. Vikash was arrested weeks after being identified by the US Department of Justice (DoJ) as “CC-1” (co-conspirator) in the case involving a “murder-for-hire.”

The entrepreneur, who runs an IT firm and is connected to numerous Indians in the Middle East, soon developed a friendship with Vikash and swapped contact numbers. In the businessman’s complaint, he stated that Vikash claimed to be an undercover agent but never disclosed any details about his job and workplace.

The businessman claimed that Vikash lured him to Lodhi Road on December 11 by saying they needed to talk about a serious matter. Upon reaching the destination, Vikash and another person kidnapped the businessman and took him to a residence in the Defence Colony neighborhood.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
