Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted a roadshow in Vadodara, Gujarat, on Monday as he commenced his two-day trip to his native state, Gujarat. This is his initial trip to the state after Operation Sindoor.
Images from the roadshow appeared online, depicting individuals throwing flower petals while PM Modi greeted the audience.
PM Modi to launch multiple projects valued at Rs 82,000 cr
While on his visit, PM Modi is expected to launch multiple infrastructure development projects valued at Rs 82,000 crore.
The Prime Minister will begin his visit in Dahod, where he will open the Loco Manufacturing Shop-Rolling Stock Workshop. After the inauguration, he will speak to the public in Kharod, Dahod and will also initiate the foundation for railways and various government projects totaling Rs 24,000 crore.

PM will flag off the Somnath–Ahmedabad Vande Bharat train
PM Modi will additionally launch the Somnath–Ahmedabad Vande Bharat train and open a railway manufacturing unit in Dahod, established at more than Rs 21,000 crore as part of the ‘Make in India’ program.
He is also scheduled to launch four enhanced drinking water group supply schemes, constructed at an expense of Rs 181 crore. These will supply potable water at 100 LPCD (Litres Per Capita Per Day) to a population of 4.62 lakh across 193 villages and one town in the Mahisagar and Dahod districts.
At 7:30 pm in the evening, Modi will conduct a 3 km roadshow from Ahmedabad Airport to Indira Bridge. More than 50,000 BJP members and residents are anticipated to greet him. He will spend the night at Raj Bhavan in Gandhinagar.

2-Km long roadshow
On the morning of May 27, at 10:30 am, PM Modi will conduct a 2-kilometer-long roadshow in Gandhinagar, where over 30,000 BJP supporters will greet him.
After the roadshow, he will open and set the foundation stone for initiatives totaling Rs 5,536 crore at Mahatma Mandir.
The Prime Minister will also launch 22,055 homes built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana with an expenditure of Rs 1,006 crore and will lay the groundwork for Phase-3 of the Sabarmati Riverfront, which will be developed at a cost of Rs 1,000 crore.
