PM Narendra Modi’s Response to Lalu Yadav
Responding to allegations questioning his faith, PM Modi refuted the claims made by Lalu Prasad Yadav. The Former Bihar CM said, “Narendra Modi is not a Hindu! Hindu people get tonsured on the death of their acquaintances, but he (Modi) did not do this even on the death of his mother.” Lalu Yadav also targeted PM Modi for not having kids.
PM Modi dismissed these assertions, asserting his identity as a Hindu and countering accusations of spreading hatred. PM Modi stated, “People of my country are my family. My life is an open book.” Following Lalu Yadav’s remarks, BJP members started using ”Modi Ka Parivar” in the names of their edited social media accounts. This created a nationwide campaign similar to the ”Mai Hun Chowkidaar” trend just before the 2019 polls.
