Victor Axelsen heaps high praise on Lakshya Sen

Star Danish shuttler and one of the biggest names in International badminton, Viktor Axelsen heaped high praises on Lakshya Sen after his fighting attitude during their intense Paris Olympics Men’s Singles semi-final showdown on August 4.

Axelsen also hailed the 22-year-old as a strong favourite to win Gold at the LA Games.

Axelsen defeated Lakshya 22-20, 21-14 to enter final

Despite being under pressure in both games of the match, down 9-15 in the first and 0-7 in the second, Axelsen emerged victorious, owing to his extensive clinical expertise in front of Lakshya.

Despite the triumph, Axelsen recognized Lakshya’s panache and projected glory for the promising Indian shuttler at next international competitions such as the LA Olympics in 2029.

“Lakshya is an amazing player. He has shown in this Olympics that he is a very, very strong competitor and I am sure in four years from now, he will be one of the favourites to win the gold. An amazing talent and a great guy and I wish him all the best. He was playing so well in the big parts of both games, but I managed to relax and play the right game and win the match. But all credit to him as well,” Axelsen told JioCinema.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
